Week 8 Late Games Open Thread

PS

The winner of Eagles-Cardinals will get to tie Dallas with the best record in the NFC for a day, or perhaps longer if the Cowboys are upset by the Redskins (lol j/k, isn t it funny when you treat impossibilities like they might actually happen?). For Philadelphia, it s the first of three road games in four weeks following their bye. Darren Sproles had the bye week to rest up after sustaining a knee injury two weeks ago against the Giants. He was limited in practice this week and is questionable for today. Arizona got a two-week vacation against the likes of Washington and Oakland, but now they play the NFC s two other one-loss teams, with a trip to Dallas coming next week.
The Steelers restored a little bit of hope for their season with a victory over the Texans last Monday night that was basically secured in a three-minute explosion of points before halftime and not much else. That s the sort of thing that can beat Houston but it will take a more sustained effort against a Colts team that absolutely embarrassed the Bengals last Sunday. The Steelers defense finally got a few turnovers against the Texans, but for the most part the unit looks really vulnerable. Dick LeBeau will have to as inventive as he s constantly described to get pressure on Andrew Luck, who has already nearly matched his career high touchdown total seven games into the season.
Finally, . It would only be fair if both teams could lose. Nevertheless, the real loser is who happens to tune in with two other good games on.
